From the minute I moved to Dallas, friends and co-workers have been telling me to check out Maple & Motor. After weeks of seeing it on my long list of places to eat at, and drooling as I carefully looked over the menu, I finally made it in!
The cheeseburger was juicy and pink, cooked to perfection! And was complimented quite nicely by the large basket of beer battered onion rings and an ice cold glass of shiner bock (available on tap). The juiciness of the burger seeped through the inner part of the bun, and marinated the onion ever so slightly. One of the reasons I love sandwiches, burgers included, is because they are like a work of art, a masterpiece if you will. Each ingredient plays a very important roll; the texture, the crunch, the flavor, the appearance…and when you nail it, it’s like a symphony going off in your mouth. Maple & Motor definitely nailed it.
I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, what a stand-up guy! The customer service was impeccable and the atmosphere was ideal for eating dinner after a long day at work. I will absolutely be back. I can’t wait to try all the other items on the menu (specifically the BLT) upon my return.
Go on and seize the meal.
