Life is about balance. If you order a salad, you should also order something deep fried, or covered in chocolate…or both! So that’s just what I did. I highly recommend both the Misticanza Salad and the Buttermilk Hush Puppies at Loch Bar in the Four Seasons in the Harbor East Neighborhood in Baltimore.

This salad was one of the best I’ve ever had. It was simple, fresh and delicious! Baby Arugula, cherry heirloom tomatoes, folly of herbs, ricotta salata, white balsamic vinaigrette. The vinaigrette was light and flavorful and pulled the all the elements of the dish together nicely.

These Puppies stole the show! Sweet corn, scallion, remoulade – Perfectly fried with the most amazing remoulade. There is a chance I took a spoon to what was left of the decadent sauce…

The atmosphere was very east cost chic and everyone was  very knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations. It made for a great girls night out!  I highly encourage everyone in the area to stop by Loch Bar!
