Donuts are a staple in my diet. A deep fried carb, covered in sugar, is typically what makes me get out of bed in the morning. In the past few years, craft donuts have been taking over all major cities and are highly sought out. Firecakes Donuts are no exception. Some people wait hours in line for a little taste of heaven.

While I didn’t have to spend hours waiting in line (even though I would have), I have never tasted a donut like this before:

Old Fashioned donuts are my favorite, they are just so saturated with sugar you can’t help but smile with each bite. This particular Old Fashioned Buttermilk donut was hands down the best I’ve ever had. I highly encourage you to NOT take my word for it and try it out yourself — the peanut butter cup and espresso cream donuts were fantastic as well. Throw caution to the wind, order them all!
