It’s very hard for me to pass up anything thats famous, specifically food. When I was told I was going to be visiting the charming city of Natchitoches, Louisiana AND eating a world famous meat pies, a smile formed on my face that could not be messed with.

The line was out the door upon arrival, which is a great sign. I was very pleased with both the heart stopping Jazzy Fries and the Famous Meat Pies. The Jazzy Fries came recommended from the waitress, and I would definably endorse (sharing) them. Krinkle Kut fries topped with loads of cheese & bacon, served with a full cup ranch dressing.

Once my slowed heart beat resumed a regular rhythm I was able to enjoy my delicious meat pie. The meat pie made of 80% beef and 20% pork, fried golden brown. It was crunchy and warm upon arrival and had just the right amount of spices. Being from the midwest, I did sneak a little ranch dressing left over from the Jazzy Fries on the pie, and it gave each morsel a whole new taste (I recommend it).

Go on and Seize the meal.
