This Chicago native may have just found the best pizza on the east coast. I was completely blown away by the pie at HomeSlyce in Baltimore. This pizza is truly incredible.

Typically I alternate hawaiian, buffalo chicken and margarita pizza but the “HomeSlyce Classic” caught my attention and I couldn’t look away. Just listen to these ingredients: HomeSlyce Sauce, goat & mozzarella cheese, walnuts, eggplant, spinach, caramelized onions and roasted peppers. Better yet – take a look at this picture:

Drooling yet?  I was a little weary of the walnuts, but it paired well with the goat cheese, and added a good crunch. The veggies were small, equally spread out, perfectly cooked and went surprisingly well together. And the crust!! I could go on and on about the crust, it was like nothing I have had before. This is a must try, and it will be very difficult for me to order anything other than this pizza.
