Another Dallas gem! This place is unbelievable. You feel like you are in a fish market when you walk, minus the smell. It’s a long restaurant with a chalk wall on one side listing all the specials, drinks and desserts which change twice daily. I was torn between the Mahi-Mahi and salmon, and because the Mahi-Mahi came with pineapple salsa and blackened, it won.

I was proud of myself for making such a fabulous decision. It was absolutely delicious! All the meals come with two sides, I chose jalapeño cheddar grits and sautéed spinach. Again, I applaud myself on these choices. The atmosphere, food, servers, and aroma is what makes this place amazing!

I must say though, the only way to finish up a meal at Amber Jax is with a piece of Elvis pie. Four words: Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Banana, Bacon. Yes, this is an absolute must.
