I can’t believe I’ve lived in Dallas for 8 months, and within 1 mile, of the Twisted Root and had not enjoyed one of their fabulous burgers. Twisted Root Burger Co. has one of the coolest atmospheres for a burger joint that I have ever been to. The menu is very extensive, however I settled on The Big Tex — Cheddar, guac, fried onion strings & chipolte sauce. It was delicious!

It’s hard to see the actual burger from the picture, but it is there, cooked medium (very tasty!). The onions were a great addition to the burger and the bun toasted, as it should be. I was torn between the fried green beans and the french fries, so I mentally just flipped a coin. (I will be back for the fried green beans.)

The burger was juicy, very flavorful and perfectly proportioned to the bun and toppings. As I looked around the packed restaurant I noticed everyone had something different, and all looked just as mouth-watering as what was in front of me. I’m excited to go back and try all the other burgers. Also, the root beer float was a great addition to the meal. But if it’s been “one of those days” they do have Adult Shakes. 🙂
