If you are looking for a “little bit of everything” appetizer platter, look no further than Sol Irlandes on Main Street. This appetizer platter has it all: Chicken Quesadillas, Empanadas, Tostadas, loaded nachos and a large tortilla bowl filled with Queso. This huge serving is great for 4-6 people to get in the mood for the rest of the meal, or a great option if you are stopping in with a few friends for a drink (they have a full and wonderful bar)!

 

I haven’t had anything that didn’t impress me at Sol Irlandes, although it does have some stiffl competition with Iron Cactus right across the street. The two restuarants have a very different feel, and you all know how I feel about those baja taco’s at Iron cactus (fried with extra chipolte sauce and coleslaw, MMmm, mmmm.)

 

If you havent been to Sol Irlandes at night, in the summer, with your best friends or for a date night, I would highly encourage it. The outdoor atmosphere is wonderful and you can see all the hustle and bustle of Main Street, the Joule Hotel patrons coming and going and the nice park with the huge eyeball that stairs out and keeps the city safe.

 

Go on and seize the meal.
