The addiction continues. I found yet another great BLT in the Dallas area. I know what you are all thinking, I should probably change the name of this blog to Seize the BLT, but when I see the glorious combination of Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato on the menu I really can’t resist.

Now, this B(E)LT was special…there were eggs involved, over medium to be exact. Lucky’s Cafe in Dallas knew what they were doing. Adding Eggs to a BLT makes it a true breakfast delight. You have bacon, Eggs, Toast all in one bite, with the crunch of fresh lettuce, a fresh ripe tomato and for those of us who live on the edge, tangy mayo.

The bacon was crispy, but not burn’t, the over medium eggs were just that, over medium and I’m almost positive there is a garden in the back where they picked the tomato minutes before serving this dish. I could eat this every morning.

I’m a big fan of restaurants that start you off on the right food when you sit down (Mexican Restaurants – Chips & Salas, Italian Restuarants – Bread of some sort, etc.) and Lucky’s is now on that list. Homemade, fresh, hot busicuts upon arrival. What a treat! They were delicious, and made the experience very memorable. HIghly recommend Lucky’s Cafe.
