I’m completely shocked that I haven’t been eating at Bread Winners Cafe everyday since my big move to Dallas. I was blown away by the Jalapeño BLT. I know what you are thinking, this girl has a BLT problem. You are correct, I can’t get enough of the perfect combination of Bacon, Lettuce & Tomato…especially when the bacon in spicy, jalapeño spicy. 

The bread on this particular BLT was genius – thin and crispy, like a panini. Nothing stole the spotlight from the jalapeño bacon, there wasn’t anything fancy added (like avocado or sun dried tomato), which definitely worked in the sandwiches favor. 

The homemade chips were light and very crispy and lightly seasoned. I love a good crunch with my sandwiches and these chips did the trick. I was a little skeptical at first ordering the homemade chips because I’ve had experiences at other restaurants and they are slightly soggy. But not at Bread Winners. They were perfect. 

You will see many more posts from this WINNING establishment because although the jalapeño BLT was a no-brainer for my first meal, there was a 6 way tie for  second place.
