One day I hope to fall as deeply in love with a man as I did with the BLT at All Good Cafe in Deep Ellum. Talk about pure joy!

I ordered the sandwich on sourdough bread instead of honey wheat and added avocado. I like to think of myself as a girl who knows what she likes. I’ve eaten a lot of sandwiches in my day, this has been my favorite to-date. It was the first time in a while I didn’t take half home as leftovers — I just couldn’t stop. No crumb left behind.

This amazing BLT can with homemade coleslaw (it was like nothing i’ve ever had before and very delicious) and chips with homemade green salsa. I was full when I left, but not stuffed. The sides complimented the sandwich perfectly and kept things light.

This sandwich was BLT perfection. It doesn’t hurt that a Travel Channel’s Food Paradise named All Good Cafe the best bacon in the country back in 2010. There bacon is honey-cured, thick, and heavily peppered.  Delicious. The sandwich also won best BLT from the Dallas Observer.
