Just when I thought I’d had it all, I walk into Hacienda on Henderson. A good friend of mine suggested not only this restaurant but the Avocado a la Romana. The description says is all, ” Avocado stuffed with fajita chicken and monterrey jack cheese, battered in bread crumbs and deep fried, served with green chile queso sauce and a light drizzle of sour cream”. 

COME. ON. 

A dish like this is called a “Game Changer”.  People seek the country, even the world, to find meals like this. Look no further, I have found the best way to eat an avocado – Stuffed with chicken and cheese and deep fried. (Please wipe the drool off your chin before someone sees you.)

When I walk into a new restaurant, there are a few things that I look for. This place had it all. Educated staff, delicious chips and salsa and margaritas that made you think you were on an island somewhere. With just one bite, that the Avocado a la Romana had just changed everything. Highly, highly recommended.
